the commercial pilot licence course
If you are interested in becoming an Airline Pilot, the Commercial Pilot Licence course is the first step of the Commercial Pilot training ladder (once your have completed your Private Pilots Licence and have passed the ATPL theoretical exams).
There is no other job in the world that will give you such amazing privileges as becoming an Airline Pilot.
Just imagine, you're on the ground in your 737 doing your pre-flight checks. It's raining and the skies are overcast. After clearance for take-off, you will climb at about six miles a minute, through the overcast skies into brilliant sunshine. Your job will give you the best views in the world and you deserve it after all the hard work, commitment, dedication and money you have spent achieving your goal.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Before commencing the Commercial Pilot Licence (A) Modular Course you will have a Private Pilot's Licence (A) with at least 150 hours total flight time as a pilot. Before licence issue, you will have completed and passed the CPL/ATPL theoretical examinations at an approved organisation (we do not offer groundschool courses here but if you have a look at our 'links' page you will find links to approved organisations).
Course Requirement For Students Without An Instrument Rating
At least 25 hours dual flight instruction to include 10 hours of instrument instruction of which up to 5 hours may be conducted in a simulator.
Course Requirement For Students With
An Instrument Rating
15 hours dual instruction to include at least 5 hours of flight instruction in a variable pitch propellor aircraft with retractable landing gear.
