the fic instructor course
This two day course is with Captain Peter Godwin our Head of Training.
Pre-Entry Requirements
- You should have 500 hours experience as a flying instructor.
- You will need to pass a CAA panel interview.
Course Content
- There is a requirement to conduct groundschool on this particular course. A minimum of 14 hours groundschool will be charged (depending on the individual). Groundschool subjects will include techniques of ground instruction, techniques of airborne instruction, student evaluation and testing.
- A minimum of 2 hours flight training is required and will be undertaken in either the C150, PA38 Tomahawk or PA28 Archer.
- You will need to pass a ground and flight examination with a CAA staff Flight Examiner or Flight Instructor Examiner.
We would suggest that you allow two days for this course (depending on weather).
Course Prices
The 2 day course is charged out at £ 600.00 + VAT
Flight training will be charged at the solo hire rate.
These prices are inclusive of VAT and landing fees but they do not include flight test fees and a/c hire for the flight test. |
