GENERAL
- All of the courses listed are subject to demand and to places being available.
- A non refundable deposit of £ 200.00 is required for all courses except the PPL, IMC and Night Rating.
- Payment can be made on a pay as you fly basis but accounts must remain in credit at all times. Should you fail to keep your account in credit, training will immediately cease at the discretion of the Head of Training / General Manager.
- Payments can be made in cash, by cheque or by credit card. Please be aware that payments made by American Express will be subject to a 3% surcharge.
- Students must conduct themselves in a disciplined manner at all times and they should obey the rules and regulations of the schools, its instructors and staff.
- Cost indications are subject to change at short notice due to aviation fuel and airfield price increases.
- Bonus Aviation reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee should a student give insufficient notice (10 working days) of cancelling a
course (up to the full course cost if deemed necessary by Bonus Aviation).
Should a student cancel a lesson
with less than five clear working
days notice we reserve the right to
charge a cancellation fee of £10.00.
- Should a student fail to attend for a pre-booked lesson Bonus Aviation reserve the right to charge for that lesson at the published rate.
- Bonus Aviation reserve the right to withdraw any published courses prior to commencement should circumstances warrant.
- Whilst every intention is made by Bonus Aviation to complete the training within the specified time scale no guarantees are made and we cannot accept liability for details caused by circumstances that are outside our control
- If any additional training hours are required these will be charged on at the rate in operation at the time.
INSTRUMENT RATING
- Students will need to have a Multi Engine Rating if undertaking the multi engine instrument rating.
- Additional charges will include navigation charges i.e. ILS / NDB fees, I/R CAA Test Fee, aircraft hire for the test. We would suggest allowing approximately £ 300.00 for these additional charges.
FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR RATING
- An AFI acceptance test will be carried out in addition to the published course hours.
- Groundschool study will comprise of 125 hours of which 55 hours is pre-flight briefings and lectures together with 75 hours of supervised and directed self study.
- A holder of an Instrument Rating may undertake a further 5 hours of flight instruction and 15 hours of ground study for the removal of the applied instrument restriction.
